Durham’s Partnership for Children is competing once again in the Triangle Christmas Tree Challenge for a chance to win $5,000! We are among 54 Triangle-based nonprofits that decorated a Christmas tree at Diamond View Park (the lawn area between DPAC and the Durham Bulls Athletic Park off Blackwell Street). Our tree, representing children age birth to 5 and their families, was crafted by some wonderful volunteers and our friends at Primary Colors Early Learning Center and Toddlers Academy. Be sure to check out our tree to see their smiling faces, hand prints and hand-traced parent and child reindeer ornaments!
Please support the Partnership by voting for our tree – #22 – during the challenge, which officially kicks off tonight at 7:00 with the Tower Lighting at American Tobacco Campus. You can show your support by attending the kick-off event and by voting for our tree daily between Friday, Dec. 5th at 7 pm and Friday, Dec. 19th at 11:59 pm.
Here’s how to cast your vote:
Every single vote is appreciated and puts us one step closer to winning the grand prize of $5,000! Thanks for your help!
