Raffle tickets are on sale now for the Crib Up-Cycle Project, a creative endeavor pairing local artists with old unsafe cribs in order to “upcycle” them into fun, unique and usable pieces! All proceeds from the raffle ticket sales will go to Welcome Baby’s Cribs for Kids program.
The Crib Up-Cycle Project began as part of the 5th Annual Bull City Coop Tour, Eggalicious and ChickenStock edu-Party, and the drawing is still taking place even though other events have been cancelled. The Scrap Exchange generously donated a gift certificate to each local artist to get them started, and Stone Brothers and Byrd in collaboration with Bull City Chickens is sponsoring the raffle.
Raffle tickets are available at Stone Brothers & Byrd, and you can also follow Bull City Chickens on Facebook and Twitter to see where they are selling tickets around town throughout the week. The drawing will take place at noon this Saturday, October 31st. You do not need to be present to win. To see more pictures of the pieces, please click here.
