With a passion for developing and creating community focused, data-driven programing for children and families, Tamara serves as the Partnership’s Data Analyst Program Coordinator. Tamara holds a Bachelor of Social Work from NCCU and a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Community, Management, and Policy Practice from UNC Chapel Hill. Tamara’s education has played a pivotal role in shaping her skills and expertise. Her background includes hands-on involvement in parent/caregiver organizing, direct practice with families facing substance use challenges, and program development, along with a keen focus on collective impact strategies and community-centered data collection practices. During her leisure time, Tamara enjoys attending dance classes, immersing herself in the art of African, Modern and Hip-Hop dance at Empower Dance Studios in Durham, NC. She also finds joy in indulging in adult coloring activities.
