As the Early Childhood Educator Coach and Mentor, Megan works closely with the Durham Early Head Start teachers to provide the highest quality and developmentally appropriate care to our Early Head Start children. She believes that children deserve the best start to life and is able to advocate for our children through working with and through the teachers. Megan began her career in early childhood education in 2001 as a lead teacher and became an administrator in 2012 before joining DPfC in October 2020. Megan earned an associate degree in early childhood education from Vance-Granville Community College. She then earned a bachelor's degree in human development and family studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
