Preparing your Child for Life!- READY4K
Ready4K is an evidence-based curriculum delivered via text message. This program gives parents the tools they need to support their child’s developmental learning skills. Ready4k communicates with parents from birth to the fourth grade 3 times a week year-round to ensure you are giving your child obtains the developmental tools they need. While Ready4K is communicating with you they are providing you with information about skills, activities to implement those skills, and encouragement to further develop skills. Durham’s Partnership for Children is a partner with Ready4K to ensure that the families we serve have access to this amazing tool! It is not too late to sign up for this program!

Question: What are Wild Wednesday’s and how can I join the next one?
Answer: Wild Wednesday’s is a time for teens to come together for a teen wellness talk. This is meant to be a place where teens can share how they are feeling about the changes and impact of COVID-19 on their lives and receive advice from one another about how to cope with these changes. Wild Wednesday’s are hosted by Faith Johnson and occur every other Wednesday at 5:30 PM. Our next Wild Wednesday is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, June 10th. Be sure to follow the Partnership’s social media for the Zoom link to join and more information about any guest speakers that may join the conversation.
