To kick off Week of the Young Child (WOYC) and Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Exchange Family Center is hosting the Pinwheels for Prevention Family Fun Day!The event will take place on Sunday, April 6th from 12:00 – 6:00 pm at Wheels Fun Park (715 N. Hoover Rd, Durham, 27703). Armbands are just $10 and include access to a variety of the activities at Wheels, and they are also holding a raffle with the chance to win a brand new car! Pinwheels for Prevention is one of many activities held during Week of the Young Child (April 6-12th), including our poster contest, Proclamation presentations at the Board of County Commissioners meeting (March 24th at 7:00pm) and City Council meeting (April 7th at 7:00pm), the Children’s Festival at Northgate Mall, and more!
