Durham’s Partnership for Children is competing once again in the Triangle Tree Challenge! We are among the 50 Triangle-based nonprofits that decorated a Christmas tree at Diamond View Park (the lawn area between DPAC and the Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Blackwell St). This year, we’re presenting an early literacy tree featuring the classic children’s book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom!
Please support the Partnership by voting for our tree!
The challenge officially kicks off tonight at 7:00 with the Tower Lighting at American Tobacco Campus. You can show your support by attending the kick-off event and by voting for our tree daily between Friday, Dec. 2nd at 7 pm and Friday, Dec. 16th at 11:59 pm.
Here’s how to cast your vote:
Vote online for our tree (#26) once per day per email address, beginning tonight at 7:00.
Vote via text message (once per day) by sending a text to 25827. Type TREE 26 as the message to vote for our tree. Please note that there is a space between the word tree and the number 26.
Every single vote is appreciated and puts us one step closer to winning the grand prize of $5,000. Thanks for your support!
