We are pleased to announce that Durham’s Partnership for Children is now accepting new and continuing proposals for Smart Start funding for the FY2017-2019 funding cycle (July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2019). New applicants are only invited to apply every two years. In fall 2017, only proposals from continuing projects will be considered. Smart Start funds may only be used to support services for young children, birth through age 5, and their families who reside in Durham County. Smart Start funds are available to local, community-based nonprofit organizations and governmental agencies. All awards are contingent upon Smart Start funding made available by the N.C. General Assembly and contracted through the North Carolina Partnership for Children.
