Great News! We have been informed that there is still time to fill out the 2020 Census and get counted! Remember the Census occurs every 10 years and filling the Census out helps bring funds to your community for areas like number of Representatives in Senate to number essential neighborhood staples. Think of it as answering questions to claim your communities share of $675 billion per year in funds. This is one way to ensure that you and your children are counted and have adequate resources in your area for years to come! Counting your little ones also shows the government there is a need for education resources, so let’s get counted as soon as possible!

Question of the Week
Question: Is there anywhere I can go to get access to a laptop and WiFi?
Answer: Every Wednesday through the month of October, the Durham County Library Tech Mobile will be parked outside of the Scrap Exchange in Lakewood Shopping Center. The bus will be there from 5 to 8 PM with 6 laptops, free WiFi, and free printing. For more information, visit the Durham County Library Facebook page.
