The smiles on everyone’s faces were evidence of the positive energy that filled the air.
Free Face Painting
Children, in particular, were in for a treat at the Fall Festival with free face painting available throughout the day. Talented artists transformed young faces into butterflies, superheroes, and animals, sparking giggles and delight. The face painting station was a hub of creativity and imagination, turning the festival into a true carnival of colors.

The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the giveaways. DPfC went above and beyond to show their appreciation to the community by offering fantastic prizes. Lucky attendees had the chance to win gift cards to local businesses and even a brand-new laptop. The excitement and anticipation were palpable as the winners were announced, and it was heartwarming to see the joy on their faces.
Opportunities to Sign Up for Child Care Services
In addition to the fun and festivities, DPfC provided a valuable service by offering opportunities for parents and caregivers to learn more about child care services available in Durham. Knowledgeable representatives were on hand to answer questions and guide families toward the resources they needed. This aspect of the Fall Festival underscored DPfC’s commitment to supporting families and ensuring that every child in Durham has access to quality care and education.
