The Community Awareness & Education Activity works collaboratively with organizations, coalitions, groups and individuals across Durham County to educate the local community about issues affecting young children and families and how quality early care and education and school readiness is a vital piece to our overall education system. The activity also promotes the umbrella of services provided by Smart Start funded partners to very young children, their families and their caregivers.
